American Red Cross South Dade Ball Committee announces 26th Annual South Dade Gala

Homestead, FL (February 11, 2009) — The American Red Cross Greater Miami & The Keys and the South Dade Ball Committee are proud to announce its 26th Annual South Dade Ball, presenting An Evening In Paris.

The South Dade Ball Committee, which is once again being chaired by Cindy Kendall and Michele Maas, will hold the Ball at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 6 at The Signature Gardens, 12725 SW 122nd Ave., Miami, FL.

“When you think of Paris, you think of romance and passion. A night of dinner and dancing – and beautiful décor – will give our guests a taste of the City of Lights,” said Cindy Kendall, South Dade Ball Co-Chair. “Please join us on this magical night that will help fund the vital programs of the American Red Cross.”

Now in its 26th year, the Red Cross South Dade Ball is among South Dade’s most anticipated events of the year and is attended by more than 200 community leaders and philanthropists.

Miami MetroZoo’s Ron Magill will serve as the Master of Ceremony. And to add an air of authenticity, members of the Coral Reef Senior High School drama club will entertain with mime performances.

This year’s ball is being planned by Mrs. Kendall and Mrs. Maas and their committee members Gina Barnes, Denise Berry, Bill Duquette, Carol Harris, Pat Haughton-James, Lori Losner, Denise Tarafa, Laurin Yoder, Michele Pederson, Rosalie De la Cruz.
