Noah Sutter, a Tavernier college student, who has been a volunteer for the American Red Cross since high school, was recognized recently at the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys' Unsung Hero luncheon.
Noah is a trained disaster responder and has provided peer education programs about the Measles epidemic around the world, International Humanitarian Law, and disaster response and preparedness. He has also been an important member of the Red Cross Stockings for the Troops program by raising funds to send holiday gifts to members of the military who are deployed. Also an athlete, Noah’s outstanding volunteer service is a model to youth and young adults throughout the Keys. |
