| Aid now reaching more survivors in Haiti |

Miami, FL (January 26, 2010) — Relief supplies are arriving more frequently and in larger quantities, and, although some bottlenecks still remain, aid is reaching the survivors in the capital city and outlying areas.
So far, more than 38 flights carrying Red Cross aid have arrived in Haiti. Additional planes, ships and trucks carrying Red Cross humanitarian assistance are expected every day.

The American Red Cross and its partners have now delivered emergency materials to 90% of the 1.3 million Haitians who were left homeless by the Jan. 12 magnitude 7 earthquake. Efforts are on track to get tarps or tents to the remaining 10% by May 1.
